One day after Republican leaders in the Minnesota House and Senate held a press conference to demand answers from Governor Dayton and his appointees at MNSure, the Executive Director, April Todd-Malmlov, resigned.
But questions remain. And there is the distinct possibility of real harm to Minnesotans on January 1st.
House Minority Leader Kurt Daudt released this statement::
“Republicans have repeatedly raised concerns about serious flaws in Governor Dayton’s implementation of ObamaCare in Minnesota. With less than a week before the critical enrollment deadline for Minnesota families, zero insurance policy cards have been issued and the MNsure help line is anything but helpful. Tonight’s news offers no comfort to hardworking Minnesotans who are still unsure if they’ll have insurance coverage on January 1st. For too long, Governor Dayton and Democrats have ignored the reality that their new state agency, MNsure, is failing Minnesotans.”
