Minneapolis, Minn. – When President Obama sends a cabinet secretary to town that only means one thing, the President is afraid to lose his number-one ally in the Senate, Al Franken. U.S. Department of Agriculture Secretary, Tom Vilsak, is set to appear today with Al Franken at the University of Minnesota.
“President Obama must be really worried he’s going to lose his most loyal vote in the Senate, Al Franken,” said Keith Downey, Chairman of the Republican Party of Minnesota. “Sending Department of Agriculture Secretary means the Obama administration knows their strongest ally, Al Franken, is in trouble and the Obama administration is at the ready to bail him out. And it’s no surprise Al Franken will cash in every Washington DC chip he has to get re-elected.”
