Representative Kim Norton, DFL HD25B – Rochester, is at it again.
As if registering all firearms, licensing gun owners, a mandatory waiting period, universal background checks, a ban on “exploding bullets”, an “assault weapons ban”, rolling back the Permit to Carry law, and a ban on open carry isn’t enough..
Earlier this week, in a private e-mail to legislators obtained by the Minnesota Gun Owners Caucus, Rep. Norton is now calling for a complete and immediate ban on carrying firearms in the Minnesota State Capitol Complex.
Rep. Norton writes:
Let’s start by banning weapons on the grounds by all but law enforcement effective immediately.
